Steel Guitars are one of my real passions, but careerwise I've worked in the Television & Radio Broadcasting field since 1973.  I earned a BA degree in Mass Communications from Western Kentucky University in 1978.  This is an exciting time right now as changes in technology move broadcasting from analog to high definition (HDTV) and digital transmission.  

I work for Sinclair Broadcast Group which owns 3 Nashville TN Telelvision Stations.  They are (WZTV - Channel 17 FOX) (WUXP - Channel 30 UPN) & (WNAB - Channel 58 WB).  I've worked there as a master control technician since 1997. 

Also I have my own broadcast business.  I'm co-owner of WEKT Radio in Elkton KY.  WEKT is a 500 watt AM station, at 1070 on the AM dial.  We're located right along the KY/TN state-line which is about 62 miles northwest of Nashville TN.  Our coverage area reaches 12 counties with a radius of over 100 square miles.  WEKT's music format is southern gospel, country & bluegrass gospel music.  I have my own saturday morning show called "The WEKT Gospel Steel Guitar Showcase".  I love getting to play Steel Guitar instrumentals of Gospel songs.  I feature many different Steel players who send me their cassettes & CD's .

I'm also a part-time real estate investor on the side.  We own several rental houses and always keeping an eye open to buy more.
